Pick Your Time Wisely
I was on the freeway after work today just minding my own business. The sky was full of beautiful reds, oranges and yellows with clouds scattered everywhere. Suddenly I had the urge to pick my nose. Doesn’t this happen to us all?
So I proceeded to probe my nasal cavity with my trusty left pinky looking for snot gold. After each excursion I would dutifully check my finger to look for that nugget that just makes you proud. While I was doing this I could tell, from my peripheral vision, that a car on my left, two lanes away, was driving at the same speed I was.
Instinctively, I paused, put my hand down, and looked over to find a woman laughing WILDLY in her car. She looked at me smiled, GUFFAWED, clapped both her hands. I could do nothing but smile.
Yes, I had been caught nose-picking-while-driving like many others have. I’m glad someone got a good laugh out of it.
In case you haven’t noticed, I’m back from Thailand. I haven’t had much of a chance to blog lately as all of last week was spent packing, organizing and cleaning. I’m mostly moved out of my old place with some random items left to be picked up.
I feel so spent these days. I could really use some good ol’ relaxing right about now. I think things will be better once I get back into the groove of things.
