Ridiculous but Curious

Virtual Me
Created at meez.com.

I went to Sandy’s blog today and read about how these websites are popping up that allow you to create a virtual representation of yourself. I find this bizarre and just another attempt for people to live outside of their true selves. I’m not sure what the ploy is (as I look at it with a skeptical eye) but I was curious. I find it ridiculous but I find myself curious. This should set off some sort of internal alarm because whenever I have this sensation I end up doing something pretty stupid or end up getting in trouble with the law (see speeding ticket entry below).

Nevertheless, I found myself creating a virtual me. I slapped something together and I ended up with a guy with a fro (with a bizarre color) playing hackeysack. Go figure.

On a side note, the sun has finally come out! I almost took the day off so I could spend it outside. Woohoo! And I caught Dave Chapelle’s Block Party last friday. It was a great movie but I don’t know if I’d give it the 93% that Rotten Tomatoes gaveit. It’s a fun little movie and I’m sad to see that Dave Chapelle will no longer make shows for Comedy Central.
