Traveling is fun, but the part where you actual travel to get your destination always sucks. Have you ever heard anybody say, “I can’t wait to get on that plane!” or “I love flying!”??
To make a long story short, my flight down sucked. Delays, weight balances, missed lift-offs and fog made it sucky. But, from my experience, I know it could’ve been worse so I’m glad it was only as bad as it was.
My cousins have been visiting so I’ve been doing all things touristy. A couple days ago we went to Vegas and I’m surprised how much it’s changed. Actually I’m not too surprised given that I haven’t been there in 15 years, but I can see how it appeals to people of my age group. The ritzy hotels, the shopping with stores aimed at our age group, the clubs, and so on. I’m definitely going to have to return to see some shows in the near future.
This vacation has been going by very quickly. It’s nearly over!

BOSTON (Reuters) — Are diamonds really forever?
An anonymous gift-giver left a $15,000 diamond engagement ring to the owner of an unlocked car in western Massachusetts with a typed note hinting at a broken heart.
“Merry Christmas. Thank you for leaving your car door unlocked. Instead of stealing your car I gave you a present. Hopefully this will land in the hands of someone you love, for my love is gone now. Merry Christmas to you,” the note said. (Watch footage of the diamond ring — :40)
The three-diamond ring with a white-gold band appeared on the seat of the man’s car at a train station in Westborough, about 30 miles west of Boston, on December 7, police said. Four days later, the man reported it to police.
“This appears to be random,” said Westborough Police Lt. Paul Donnelly. “I think there was a search for a car that was unlocked.”
The 37-year-old man decided to keep the ring after a jeweler appraised its value at $15,000, police said.

Hi everyone!
I’ve been so busy these past 2 weeks.
The week before this one I had a week off. I thought it was be time spent for R&R, but instead it was used to handle the 20-odd errands that I had to do. Everything from getting my car checked to buying a card for my friend who just had a kid. Busy! I didn’t even get a chance to golf which was the whole point behind taking a week off.
This week has been my first week at my new job. The commute sucks but everything else about it is great! The people are awesome and I really like the work I’m doing. I’m really into the stuff I’ve been working on. Even though I’ve been working infinitely more than I was before, I find myself much happier.
The only big downside is that I haven’t had much time to blog or read other people’s blogs. I peeked and it looks like everyone else is quite busy too. I suppose that’s a good thing.
Anywho, no real stories to narrate or rants to rant or silly pictures to put up. Oooh! If you’re interested I have a new splash page and I put up pictures from my trip to London and Paris.
