		<description>Found this tread through reading Drew&#039;s blog site. Yeah having heard of all the fuss about the rich owning their 2nd and 3rd houses that it&#039;d be a surpised that the market is a better investment than physical assets.

US $$$ is so weak now compared to Euro that I&#039;m wondering if it&#039;s better to invest abroad...hmm.

		<description>I read (I think in Money Magazine) that in most locations, real estate / property barely leads inflation as an investment.  Also, the comment about 9% of assets in cash amounts to about $50-100k in the bank.  This is how you buy a Mercedes without a loan.  The percentage value doesn&#039;t seem to high to me, and in fact I would suspect that we of the younger and untrusting generation have more of our assets in cash (on a percentile basis).  Interesting read.</description>
